What happens now?
We changed the name, but the concept is still the same
Nabobil is now Getaround. Your profile and all the cars have been moved to Getaround. Use your Nabobil login credentials to sign in. and you're ready to book a car! There's no need to create a new account.
Your profile has been moved to Getaround and you can activate your account by accepting Getarounds Terms of Service. You don't have to take any action regarding your profile at nabobil.no, it will eventually be deactivated and the data will be deleted in accordance with rules and regulations.
Receipts for your previous rentals at Nabobil.no are available on your Nabobil profile.
The pricing structure is slightly different on Getaround. However, the concept is still the same as car owners decide the rental price when listing their cars. You can read more about the details at Getaround.
Any upcoming rentals on Nabobil.no must be completed using the Nabobil app (or website). If you have already booked a car on Nabobil.no your rental will continue as usual. However, any significant extensions or new bookings must be done at Getaround.
Your profile has been moved to Getaround. You don't have to do anything with your profile at nabobil.no, after a period of time it will be deactivated and then removed.
Your profile and your listing is already on Getaround, all you have to do is sign in and accept the Terms of Service
Rentals that have already been paid for will not be affected by the transition to Getaround, they will be completed at nabobil.no. Renters who have booked your car at Nabobil will need to use the Nabobil app (App Store, Google Play) or website to complete their rentals.
Your car can no longer be booked on Nabobil so make sure to sign in on Getaround and accept the new terms of service to make your car available for rentals.
The pricing structure will change a bit and you’ll access more smart tools to enhance your car’s revenue. You can read more about it at Getaround.
All rentals in Norway will be insured with the same coverage as before by If insurance.
Your Nabobil uten Nøkkel-agreement will remain, but the rate will decrease to 190 kr/month. The new name will be renamed Getaround Connect and all cars will be instant bookable.
If you have toll charges for rentals completed at Nabobil you'll need to log in at Nabobil and upload the toll station records. Toll charges for future bookings on Getaround should be managed on Getaround.
Renters from the Nordics can already book cars on our platform. Soon, renters from all over the world can rent your car when travelling to Norway.
The customer support team here in Oslo will still be providing the same, high quality support that has been a part of our service since we started back in 2015.
