Fuel and toll station costs are not included in the rental price. You’re responsible for paying for toll roads and returning the car with the same amount of fuel as it had when you picked it up.

The rental price includes 200km per day, or 20km per hour for shorter rentals (with an additional 20km for the first hour).

For any excess mileage driven during your rental, you will pay the price per extra kilometer that the owner has set for their car.

Any additional drivers should be registered and confirmed on Nabobil before the rental starts. The renter needs to have a profile registered on Nabobil.no, or will have to create one at Getaround in order to be added to the rental.

If the driver has a profile on Nabobil you can add them yourself in the app or on the web.

If they don’t have a profile you can send an email to hjelp@nabobil.no, with information about the rental and and the extra drivers phone number.

The car should normally be picked up at the address stated in your conversation on our website or in the app, unless something else is agreed upon with the owner.

To pickup or deliver the car, open the Nabobil-app and navigate to your rental. When you’re next to the car, open the pickup/delivery form and follow the steps on the device to complete the form. You’ll need to document the cars current condition by uploading photos and you’ll be asked to enter current mileage and fuel level. The information you submit will also be accessible to the owner in the conversation.

The car should be returned in the same condition and with the same level of fuel as it had when you picked it up. Any additional cost incurred by not refuelling, cleanliness or excess mileage driven during the rental will be withdrawn from your registered credit card.

The photos might be used by our claims handlers in case of an incident and might also be shared with our insurance partner.

As a renter you’re liable for toll charges that incurred during your rental. You can enter your toll charges manually in the delivery form.

Please note that owners can upload their toll station records to correct the charges after an ended rental.

Remember to refuel the car before delivery. You should deliver the car with the same amount of fuel as it had when you picked up the car. If you return the car with less fuel then when you picked it up your credit card will be charged for the cost of refueling. The cost for fuel is set to kr 25 per liter.

You are responsible for any tickets you receive during your rental. Depending on the type of ticket you either pay the ticket directly, or we will charge you for the invoice the owner receives after the rental.

You have to inform the owner if you deliver the car at a paid parking spot. You are responsible for any fines due to unpaid parking up until 24h after the rental has ended.

If the car is parked illegally when you return the car, you will be held responsible for any ticket fined the first 48 hours after delivery.

As a renter you are legally responsible for paying the insurance deductible if the car is damaged during the rental. Note that you will be charged one deductible per incident.

Overview of the deductible the renter is responsible for:

  • Car body damages 12 000 NOK
  • Liability 12 000 NOK
  • Fire/theft 12 000 NOK
  • Glass damages 2 500 NOK

NB! If the cost of repairing the car is lower than the deductible you will only be charged for the cost of repair.

You can choose to reduce the deductible by paying a daily fee. This decision can’t be taken after you picked up the car.

If you experience an accident during your rental please fill out an accident report. Please describe the accident as detailed as possible and attach any relevant photos or other evidence.

Once the report has been sent, you will be contacted by a Nabobil representative before the case is forwarded to If Insurance.

You set the price for any excess mileage driven during the rental. Each rental will have 200km included per day, or 20km per hour for shorter rentals (with an additional 20km for the first hour).

You’ll receive 75% of the total rental price and any excess mileage cost, 25% is deducted to cover service and insurance fees. Any additional costs paid by the renter, e.g. toll station and/or fuel, is paid to you in full.

Renters can add additional drivers to the rental when the reservation is confirmed. For a user to be added as an extra driver, they must have a verified profile and consequently fulfill the same requirements as the renter. You will receive a notification if any additional drivers are added to your rental.

The car should normally be picked up at the address you’ve entered for your car, unless something else is agreed upon with the renter.

The renter will fill out a form in the Nabobil-app at pickup and delivery. The process includes taking photos of the car as well as entering its current mileage and fuel level. You will have access to the submitted data in the conversation with the renter.

To avoid any disputes in case of an incident, you should check your car before and after the rental and document its current condition with photos.

You’ll receive the payout 3-5 business days after the rental has been completed. The rental is not completed until the renter has submitted the delivery form. If the renter hasn’t filled out the form, you can contact us at hjelp@nabobil.no with information about mileage, fuel level and toll station costs.

The renter is responsible to pay for any toll station costs and tickets incurred during the rental. If you receive a ticket after an ended rental, you can send it to us at hjelp@nabobil.no and we will charge it to the renter. Speeding tickets will be redirected to the tenant.

Fuel is not included in the rental price and your car is supposed to be refuelled before return. Lack of refuelling will be charged the renter, who will pay 25 NOK for each liter of missing fuel.

The renter enters the costs for toll stations when delivering the car. If you think the amount entered is too low you can upload your AutoPASS record to correct the amount that is debited to the renter.

The renter is responsible for reporting any damages or accidents during the rental. If you think that your car has been damaged during a rental without the renter reporting it, you can submit an accident report.
